Multiplied Media Corporation is a Canadian company based in Calgary and traded on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol MMC. Multiplied Media develops award-winning mobile applications. We work closely with our partners to provide the most comprehensive data in mobile location and effective solutions that provide smartphone-like functionality to users of basic handsets. Multiplied has established global partnerships with major national directory and vertical content providers, mobile network operators, and handset manufacturers.

Multiplied Media Corporation offers access to location based search information anywhere at any time through its Poynt application product (beta launched in June 2008). As an early entrant in the rapidly expanding Location Based Search (LBS) market, Multiplied Media is uniquely situated to profit from the anticipated rapid expansion in wireless application use. It is “estimated that carrier-generated consumer LBS revenues totaled over $480 million in 2008 and [projections estimate] this figure to surpass $3.0 billion in 2013” . The European market is expected to “grow from 20 million users in 2008 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of nearly 37 percent to reach 130 million users in 2014.”

Multiplied Media is set to launch its e-mail to SMS service in the second quarter of 2010, providing smartphone e-mail functionality to non-smartphone handsets. Multiplied’s email-to-SMS provides basic cell phone users with full functionality of compose, reply and forward on a clientless application and delivers real-time access to different attachment types including images, documents, audio and video formats. Two signed agreements in the Asia-Pacific region for the email-to-SMS service are anticipated in the short term.
