Discovery
The initial conference call serves to make introductions and learn about each other’s company before executing a Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement and engaging in a more detailed discussion to better understand your business and technology needs. Your technical team will have a chance to speak directly with, and even interview, our technical leads and engineers who would be working on your project, and discuss the technical details with them. This whole process could be as short as a couple days, but will likely take a little longer, depending on the complexity of your businesses needs
Contract
Next you receive our Consulting Services Agreement, which defines the the terms of our relationship, but doesn’t obligate you to do any work with us. If you need to make some modifications to the agreement, we would review those and once we’re all in agreement, both companies will sign it. While that is in progress we can start to discuss your expectations for team size, scope of work, start date and duration of the engagement. Most of our engagements are ongoing, staff augmentation engagements, but we also work on projects that have a start and end date. We can make this process as short as you’d like, though we understand that your legal team will likely be involved in reviewing the agreement
…and, we’re off!
Once we have a scope for the engagement or project, you will receive the Statement of Work, which details a description of the work, the team, the rates and the duration. If you want to make modifications to the SOW, both sides review and approve until all terms are agreed to, then both parties execute with signatures. That’s it! We’re ready to hit the ground running. The first step is to schedule a kick-off meeting to get everyone synchronized and then start on the project
