The Challenge
A leading provider of assistive listening technology for over 10 years needs to provide a zero latency solution that is easy to install, cost effective when scaled, supports language interpretation and multiple room/channel audio delivery while not requiring a data plan.
The Plan
Build a lab to support the research, development and testing of audio channel distribution technologies. Identify primary technology candidates to be delivered in an MVP that can be field tested in a controlled market. After external validation, build a commercially ready version utilizing a team of mobile developers who specialize in Android and iOS internals.
The Solution
The Multiplied team designed and developed an audio streaming solution that can use a venue’s existing wireless network, has ultra-low latency, and can accommodate 1,000 users per server (easily scales up 1,000 users per additional server) to broadcast the selected audio source such as a TV to your iPhone, iPad, or other Wi-Fi enabled iOS or Android device. The architecture includes a mobile App that enables you to pick from numerous audio sources in venues such as gyms or sports bars that have the audio streaming system installed.
